I would say this hotel was a terrific value. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who watches their budget, but appreciated a nicer place. Having said that, their rate of $1.50 per hour is as affordable as it gets.Īll around a FANTASTIC experience. The only down part of this hotel is that they charge for internet. We had a car so moving around was not a problem. Close to all the wineries and away from the touristy feel of Napa. The hotel is centrally located in Santa Rosa, which in my opinion is a great place to stay when visiting wineries.

The parking is free and there is plenty to go around. There is a nice restaurant which we did not try, but saw a great special: $15 for a 3 course meals that looked incredible.
So nice to come back from the wineries and soak in the jacuzzi. There is a great outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi open even in winter until 11pm.

He took the time to give us maps of the entire Sonoma Area, cupons for wine tasting, recommend restaurants, gave us a list of all the restaurants in the area, sorted out by kind of food and price, and even printed out google maps for us, for whole day trips from place to place. We arrived late in Santa Rosa and were greated by a young man named Brent. Having said that, we had the most amazing experience at this hotel and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. We bid very low for a 31/2 hotel in the Santa Rosa area, on Priceline and surprise, there was the Flamingo! We were a little scared at first when we saw the big flaming pink Flamingo sign and read some of the reviews.
